Workshop Overview

iGene School of VFX Technology is the only educational institution training individuals interested in learning the subjects of Visual Effects (VFX) with a production-pipeline based training. 

  • 1. Rotoscoping: is technique used in the visual effects pipeline to control a specific region by selecting elements which needs to be altered in every frame.2. 
  • ​Paint-Prep: is a technique used to remove certain elements or artefacts by painting back the information frame by frame.
  • 3. Match-Move: is a technique that allows the insertion of computer graphics into live-action footage with correct position, scale, orientation, and motion relative to the photographed objects in the shot.
  • 4. ​3D Generalist: is the process used for computer generated images which can be static and with movement, depending on the requirement.
  • ​5. Compositing: is the process of adding/removing multiple 2D/3D elements and making it appear as though it was shot from the camera.
